What is RCards?
RCards is an app for storing barcodes, QR codes and other graphical codes — loyalty cards, discount cards, passes and anything else built on a code. It runs on your smartphone and on Wear OS watches.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. RCards needs no internet connection for everyday use. A connection is only required to initially download the predefined cards built into the app (over 1000 cards from retail chains worldwide) and to back up to Google Drive.
Is my card data sent anywhere?
No. Your cards are stored locally on your device. They leave it only when you ask for it yourself — when you back up to Google Drive.
Is backup data encrypted?
Yes. Encryption is optional — you can turn it on whenever you want.
Which code types are supported?
Two-dimensional codes: QR Code, Aztec, Data Matrix and PDF417. One-dimensional barcodes: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar and ITF.
What is Premium?
The core features are available from the start. Premium adds an unlimited number of loyalty cards (instead of 8 in the basic version), the Wear OS app, backup and restore, and customization of how your cards and the app look. Monthly and yearly subscriptions are available.
